Kicking off the semester with new initiatives, new faces, and renewed ZARB pride!
The ZARB Store is back for the Spring 2026 semester! With a new term underway, we’re bringing fresh energy, and more opportunities for students to get involved. From welcoming our interns back to connecting with students at campus events, we’re setting the stage for a productive and engaging semester!
Spring 2026 Intern Kickoff Meeting
February 2, 2026
We started the semester with our first full intern kickoff meeting, bringing together team members from across the store. The meeting focused on aligning goals, introducing leadership updates, and setting expectations for the semester ahead. For interns, this kickoff marked the start of hands-on experience, collaboration across departments, and opportunities to build real-world professional skills.
Meet Our New Head of Marketing & Media
We’re excited to welcome Dean Stoller from the Dean’s Office of Marketing and Communications as the new Head of Marketing and Media for the ZARB Store. In this role, she will oversee the marketing department and serve as the main point of approval for all marketing initiatives. Additional marketing initiatives will be introduced throughout the semester, giving interns valuable experience in branding, content creation, and strategic communication.
Spring 2026 Store Initiatives
This semester, the ZARB Store is rolling out several initiatives designed to strengthen collaboration, improve organization, and create meaningful learning experiences for interns.
Cross-Functional Teams
Interns will work in cross-functional teams, allowing departments to collaborate more efficiently while gaining exposure to different areas of the store’s operations.
Semester-Long Projects
Interns will participate in projects that last the full semester, encouraging consistency, accountability, and deeper involvement in the store’s growth.
Online Sales Platform
We’re working toward expanding the ZARB Store’s reach through an online sales platform, making ZARB merchandise more accessible to the community.
Events Team
A dedicated events team will coordinate and plan store-related events, offering interns experience in event planning, promotion, and execution.
Documentation & Succession Planning
Clear documentation and role guidelines are being prioritized to improve training, clarity, and continuity for interns now and in future semesters.
Product Pitching & Ordering
Interns will gain hands-on experience pitching product ideas and participating in the ordering process, providing real insight into merchandising and decision-making.
At-Cost Intern Benefit
One of the benefits of being a ZARB Store intern is the at-cost purchase option. Interns may purchase store items at cost after:
- Completing all assigned Canvas tasks
- Remaining in good standing with their responsibilities
This benefit recognizes the time, effort, and dedication interns bring to the store.
Accounting Department Opportunities
The ZARB Store Accounting Department is currently seeking new interns. Students interested in gaining experience in accounting and financial operations are encouraged to contact Andrew Kern at akern4@pride.hofstra.edu.
ZARB Spring 2026 Welcome Back Event
February 4, 2026
The ZARB Store was proud to table at the Spring 2026 Welcome Back Event. We showcased new merchandise, connected with ZARB students, and invited attendees to express interest in joining the store as interns.
The event allowed us to make sales, network across the school, and represent ZARB pride on campus. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported the ZARB Store. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to start the semester.
